The GGP Seritage Redevelopment of the Sears building at Coronado Center refreshed the exterior of the old 1960’s style building and gave it modern high parapets, different depths of storefronts, and new stone and EIFS finishes.  Sears remains the anchor tenant in the building, but now it occupies half of the space it did previously.  The new major retail draw is The Container Store which fills 18,000 square feet of the recaptured 90,000 square feet.  The recaptured area was demised for up to 16 new tenants bringing both known retailers and new food and beverage options.
