PROJECT OVERVIEW
The NMSA project included a complete renovation of the historic Sanbusco Plaza located near Santa Fe plaza. Several of the buildings were built in the 1890’s and required a structural upgrade. Almost every room in the building was designed as a multi-use space that can be transformed to meet the needs of a school that offers an academic program in the morning and an arts mastery program in the afternoon. The campus includes classrooms, staff offices, dance hall and a large corridor that serves as an excellent meeting space. New Mexico School for the Arts (NMSA), is the only four-year, statewide, public high school serving artist-scholars across New Mexico with a rigorous, award-winning pre-professional arts and academics program.
