Our Projects

Why Join Klinger?

Our People: Klinger is proud of the large number of our people that have worked at Klinger for 20 years or more. Many have worked their way through the ranks, starting as laborers, to craftsmen, to foremen and on to superintendents. Our superintendents average 25 years of construction experience and our project management staff averages 16 years of experience.

We share our construction knowledge, commitment to quality and expertise with our valued clients on each project.

Training: Klinger has been actively involved in Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) since1983 and instrumental in helping to establish their apprenticeship programs for carpentry, electrical, plumbing and sheet-metal. Klinger's training programs have helped employees advance their careers.  Employees that have started in the trade apprenticeship programs currently hold positions as Foreman, Supervisors, and Project Managers.  We have trained employees in four different trades and provide ongoing trade and safety training for all employees.

Safety: Every Klinger employee has OSHA 10 training.  All Supervisors and General Foreman have OSHA 30 training.  We want to ensure our employees are leaders on the jobsite in safety knowledge and compliance. Klinger’s safety performance has been rated as above average based upon workers compensation ratings for 23 consecutive years. The last 10 years our frequency of OSHA recordable accidents is 1/3 of the national average.

Merit Shop: Klinger is a merit shop contractor and has maintained a traditional General Contractor value of doing as much of the work on projects as possible. This allows us to better control costs and schedule. We typically self-perform demolition, structural concrete, site-concrete, rebar placement, concrete finishing, structural steel erection, misc. steel fabrication and installation, specialty installations, rough and finish carpentry.

Whether you’re new to the industry, a seasoned professional or a college graduate, Klinger is the right choice for a career in construction.
